Catalin arrived on time, at short notice of a few hours of posting the job. He was very pleasant, professional and flexible in his approach. He efficiently and expediently took the weeds out of the garden, thoroughly pinned down the large garden mat, showing the pride he takes in his work. He fixed the toilet seat allowing me to return the one I had bought, so saved me money. He checked a few times I was happy with the work he did before leaving. Although I was very happy with his work on the day, I waited for a day to do the reviewed to ensure a 5 star review was warranted. I asked for the Competent Handyman and that is exactly what I got. Therefore, I would have no hesitation using his services again and recommending him to others.

Marius did a superb job to a very high standard of workmanship and I have no hesitation in recommending him. He constructed a large children's swing, slide and climbing set in our backgarden single handedly in one morning, ensuring the whole structure was firmly and safely built. Marius was very punctual and had all the tools for the job at hand. When he was unhappy with the quality of screws supplied by the manufacturer Marius had no hesitation in using a higher standard set of screws for no extra cost. This was a skilled job and Marius completed it for an extremely reasonable and competitive price. Marius doesn't cut corners and ensures everything is properly completed before finishing the job.

Very pleased with our experience. The gentleman who came to visit it was punctual, professional and resolved the issue. You could tell he knew exactly what he was talking about, and even though my daughter had attempted to fix the washing machine previously and in doing so had lost the plate inside the washing machine that helps the door to stay secured he managed to dismantle the machine completely and find it. To even know where within the machine it would’ve dropped based off of her description of her attempts at fixing it just showed the level of knowledge he had. Furthermore, when discussing ideas for renovations around the house in the near future, he was able to come up with some really innovative solutions for some of the issues we were having making the space functional for the whole family. We have had quite a lot of work done to our house and appliances and I can confidently say, the gentleman that visited us was a brilliant tradesmen who takes pride in his work.
