We are currently in the process of fully renovating our 4 bedroom house in Epsom. The project includes structural changes, plus a garage conversion and a loft conversion. Niamh from ID Studio 17 has been involved right from the start of the design phase through to the start of the build. During the design phase, Niamh provided a number sketches for each floor, showing what we could potentially do with the house. Her ideas were extremely creative - many of which would have never crossed our minds! After the design phase, when we had decided on what we wanted to do with each floor, Niahm not only started the technical drawings, but also handled all aspects of building control and the structural engineer. In addition, she helped us source items and materials for the project, which included several days spent visiting suppliers with us. Niamh has a very broad understanding of renovation/building work, from structural aspects to the soft furnishings, and she is also very driven. Her communication skills are great. I would certainly recommend ID Studio 17 for any renovation project!

You NEED Housi on your project, they took the stress out of our renovation!! We would highly recommend! We got in touch with Housi to help with ideas to renovate a new property I was buying. Holly from Housi helped us with architectural and industry advise throughout the process even before starting full design services which helped me understand my budget more and where items from the survey and my design ideas could overlap. As I was trying to limit costs, Housi helped develop a phased approach to the works as well as assessing options to have a self contained rental unit to bring in income to pay for the final works later. Overall, Holly helped us find minimal abortive works whilst trying to maximise value and functionality. As well as design strategy, she helped us submit a licence to alter application as we found out the house was under a covenant agreement, and managed the project through tender also - meeting with builders and getting quotes. Most importantly, she was able to advise us where builders may be overcharging so we could assess the right builders for us. Working with Housi really made a difference to our project by helping us understand the different stages of a renovation. Holly offered so much more advice and reassurance than any previous professionals we had worked with on our last house and even helped us source re-claimed steel as we wanted to be as circular as possible.

I'm so happy with shelving that ozzy and his colleague made. Ozzy took the time to understand want I wanted (floating alcove shelving) provided a clear and comprehensive quote, and kept me updated on completion of the shelving in his workshop. On day of installation, the guys were lovely and friendly, they went the extra mile in dealing with floors and walls that aren't at all straight, and the finished result blew me away, it's transformed the space completely. Such a pleasure to deal with, would highly recommend and i would definitely use them again in the future.

Shiraz is a very experienced Architect. I hired My Architect to work on loft and rear extensions. I had an idea of what I wanted but Shiraz helped me ground it into reality and we ended up coming up with a design that was better than what I had. He was also very responsive and helped me in the process of getting approval for 6-meter rear extension which had been refused before. Shirav is very rounded in architectural work, structural calculation, and the flow of planning and building control. Shiraz was extremely helpful and professional in the early stages, determining the right direction to take my project. Further to this, the design process with Shiraz was an absolute pleasure. Everything is made clear, easy, and stress-free. The Designs were beautiful and any questions or advice I needed were answered quickly and empathetically. I can highly recommend Shiraz for Architect work as he has a broad domain knowledge of the work.

We spoke with a number of architects for our project & having completed the project, I can say we are very happy with our choice of Colin & Niamh & would certainly recommend them. Particularly in terms of the design stage of things, we found their input invaluable. They came up with a design for both our loft & extension which included things we just never would have thought of on our own. They gave us different options for both parts of the build & were happy to let us steer them based on our preferences. After the design stage, during submissions for planning approval & subsequently throughout the build, they were always on hand to keep us posted & reply promptly to any queries we had. Compared to most of the other ‘professionals’ we encountered throughout the process, we found that they lived up to this moniker: they were professional & efficient from start to finish.
