Depending on the job I can give fixed quotes based on the above rates. Experienced in a wide range of jobs and very good at problem solving things that are a bit unusual - for example sourcing replacement parts. I am punctual, professional and clear at communicating plans and progress. Experience includes : * Painting and decorating, including patching holes in plasterboard. * Minor electrical work changing bulbs and plug fuses, changing light fittings and shades, installing LED lights, replacing transformers, replacing existing switches and sockets like for like, replacing light fittings, replacing existing smoke alarms, installing new battery operated smoke alarms including interconnected alarms. * Replacing built in appliances - e.g. extractor fans, ovens, dishwashers * Minor plumbing jobs fixing lose toilet seats, replacing toilet seats, fixing cisterns not flushing properly or constantly running, replacing shower and tap washers and cartridges * Small woodwork jobs such as cutting out and fixing small areas of rotten timber * Picture and TV hanging; putting up shelves. * Furniture assembly and minor repair

This is the only tradesman I have ever hired who has left me in a genuinely worse position than before the work started. He was hired to repair a toilet. He also fitted a toilet seat and replaced my shower. The work was substandard and the finishing was very poor. The toilet was left with a very weak flush and exposed pipework which was not how he found it. The toilet seat was fitted incorrectly. Waleed blamed the seat/ bowl but the manufacturer confirmed the installation was wrong and described it as rubbish. Water was spilled when he carried the old shower through my kitchen without emptying it. A few days later two hallway laminate transition bars were found to be damaged by said water. I paid £160 to have them replaced and £80 for a plumber to put the toilet right. The shower itself was fitted well but that was the only part of the job I was happy with. He initially offered a refund but when I sent the invoices and receipts he simply replied 'sue me'. I would not recommend.
