We went back to basics and put the fireplaces back in It was a lot of work involved Two fire places - block work was perfect 👌 All the work was explained in detail to us at all times Room 1 had to have the fires re built Very good Room 2 again very good work Chimneys attached and work was very good We now have two functional fire-places Thank you both

I'm in charge of minor to major building projects - from rebuilding chimney stacks, to re-pointing and lining them to make them safe to the installation of fireplaces and sub hearths. I also undertake ground work - which includes drainage issues, concrete repair or laid to new, Paving. I also do fencing and brick work.
Latest review:Fireplaces & Flues-Dan removed two fireplaces for us, and made good the two cavities - bricked up so they were the size we wanted, and plastered the whole area. He did a great job - the finished cavities look great, with a very neat finish. Dan was super communicative and reliable, and was also very patient with us as we hadn’t decided exactly what we wanted when he first started. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Dan to anyone!

For a few last years I'm working for myself and we as a team, or just myself for a smaller jobs - building extensions, garden walls, new build as well as repairs and restoration i.e. repointing and restoring brick face, as well as doing speciality brickwork like arches, chimneys and variety of decorative brickwork. I can make granite hearths or marble, limestone or sandstone, sizes to order. I fit customers own fireplaces, purchased from the internet or eBay. I can’t do gas or electrics, but I know people who can. I also don’t fit wood burning stoves or sweep chimneys! I will travel anywhere

I only wish I had more fireplaces for Wayne to create !!!!
