My background is as a Professional Civil Engineer for over 40 years working internationally and in UK and Europe on major projects such as the Channel Tunnel to name just one. So i hear you ask what on earth is he advertising skills as a handyman for! Well, I have also been a self builder in the UK for years with several properties to my name which I have completed from start to finish. I now want to work locally as in 2024 I finally became a grandparent. So i have hung up the boots with the travelling. Therefore I want to return to fixing, fitting out, and making things mostly from recycled materials. So I waste nothing if i can help it which i admit makes the refurb sometimes slower but definitely more rewarding I am therefore seeing this as my semi retirement opportunity allowing me to pick and choose the projects that appeal to my skillset. Which is anything to do with domestic fit out, be it bathrooms, kitchens, showers, toilets requiring carpentry, flooring, tiling, plumbing, decorations and then anything gardening and brickwork. For larger project have my buddy to help. My skills are also basic plumbing and electrics. certified as reqd.
