Rating: 5 out of 5 5512 reviewsGet in touchI am a Chartered Builder based in Ayr, South Ayrshire. I have 20 years of experience in carpentry/joinery, timber frame construction, general building, structural repairs and alterations, steelwork and reinforced concrete. I originally trained as a cabinet maker and have gone on to work throughout domestic, industrial and commercial construction as a carpenter/joiner, builder and construction manager.
This job of renovating my garage floor has been long overdue. It was an absolute mess. I’m so glad I got Hillfort Contracts to undertake the work. Olly (and his co-worker Aidan) was fantastic. Right from his initial contact and pricing through to job completion, his professionalism and technical skills shone through. I am well pleased with the quality and finish of the work alongside the job pricing. I would unhesitatingly recommend Hillfort Contracts for similar works.Latest review:Groundwork & Foundations- - PLR groundwork’sGroundworker in Cumnock
Rating: 5 out of 5 5520 reviewsGet in touchP.L.R. groundwork’s with over 10+ years experience in the trade. We cover all aspects of groundwork from drainage to foundations, driveways and slabbing , landscaping and much more, all carried out to the highest standards at competitive costs.
Had a wooden fence around my garden for years and eventually it gave out during the recent bad weather. Decided to have a real clean out of the old garden and get a wall built instead, and was really pleased to be introduced to Dayle to discuss the job. He was very approachable, polite and personable and we discussed requirements and options. He was very helpful and flexible in getting started, and he and his team worked through some dreadfully bad weather to get the job done (I think I didn't fully realise the scope of what was involved!). Last job was to get the concrete laid and this was completed without fuss or bother ready for the bricklayers to start. A VERY hard-working team at PLR Groundworks and I would like to thank Dayle and his entire team for the great job they did. Highly Recommended!Latest review:Groundwork & Foundations- - Palmer&son Groundworks LtdGroundworker in Cumnock

Jacob is one of the most organised and professional people I have met. His knowledge of groundwork’s, scope and lots of other niche building topics are outstanding. The whole job was very clear and easy, with stage payments and clear instructions on how to pay suppliers. Would 100% recommend Jacob to anyone requiring work within his scope and looking for a 10/10 job.Latest review:
