We're very pleased with the results. The job was completed to a high standard. Very good communication. They are a friendly team that always goes above and beyond. This job was done in several stages as there was quite a lot to do. We had a single garage demolished, the asbestos roof was safely disposed, the concrete base removed, several old fences removed and an extensive amount of old decking removed. The whole site was then cleared and tidied (it was a lot!). We then had a really nice new fence and gate installed, and the front fence was repositioned. Then they leveled the whole garden with Type1 mot to get it ready for the next stage of landscaping at a later date. We also hired them to replace our back door and side light at a very competitive price, as well as other smaller jobs around the house, like installing engineered flooring in a small room, installing a large plaster ceiling rose, removing an old antenna, etc. We would gladly recommend them.

Excellent service from Thomas Rankin. Thomas kept in touch with every aspect of the job and was it was completed to my great satisfaction...not an easy job as it was an asbestos shed that had to be demoloshed after foxes had managed to burrow their way underneath. The site has now been completely cleared and would not know there had ever been a shed there. Highly recommend this company.

Had a wooden fence around my garden for years and eventually it gave out during the recent bad weather. Decided to have a real clean out of the old garden and get a wall built instead, and was really pleased to be introduced to Dayle to discuss the job. He was very approachable, polite and personable and we discussed requirements and options. He was very helpful and flexible in getting started, and he and his team worked through some dreadfully bad weather to get the job done (I think I didn't fully realise the scope of what was involved!). Last job was to get the concrete laid and this was completed without fuss or bother ready for the bricklayers to start. A VERY hard-working team at PLR Groundworks and I would like to thank Dayle and his entire team for the great job they did. Highly Recommended!

Neil was brought in to construct a single storey extension to our house After trawling through numerous companies we were delighted to have found Neil as he is a bricklayer to trade unlike most other companies who are joiners who employ bricklayers and grounds workers and we know building an extension requires 80-90 percent brick and ground work and all other externals. From the moment my wife and I met Neil and his team we knew we had found the right builder. Right from the word go we could see the professionalism and after every day's work the site remained tidy.Communication was never an issue as we were always kept in the loop what was happening, when and where. Over all we are delighted that our extension came in at a good price, on time and and looks the way we wanted it too! Neil and his co worker Barry are two very friendly and easy to get on with guys. My wife child minds from home and this can cause a lot of problems when workmen come as we need to make sure the premises are kept safe and secure for the children.Neil and Barry always made sure that there was never any danger around and always maintained a high level of awareness making sure simple things like gates were closed and secured or any work areas were danger free. I also might add that all the kids thought that they were hilarious when they saw them and that in itself of making everyone feel at ease is one of many reasons why we will use Neil again and recommend him to anyone!
