Hi, I am an ex military mechanic of 12 years and still have a great work ethic and core values. After leaving the forces I re-trained as an excavator operator 10 years ago. While working in this industry I have become proficient in all aspects of groundwork’s while also being skilled in many other aspects of house renovation having carried out 3 renovations on my own homes and doing various work for other people. My skills range from furniture assembly, garden landscaping, footings, patios, minor plumbing work, excavations, tiling, bathroom fitting etc etc. There isn’t much I can’t do but I wouldn’t look to take on jobs I couldn’t do to a high standard as I am a bit of a perfectionist and wouldn’t want anyone to be unsatisfied with anything I had done for them. More than happy to send details of work I have done along with pictures to anyone who wishes to see my work. We are Apex paving ltd, Daniel and myself (Josh) started our business 5 years ago with just the two of us. We have 30 years of experience and knowledge combined and have grown our business to currently employ 27 people on domestic and commercial sites and are still growing year on year. We sub-contract to 4 large commercial groundworks and street works firms across Hampshire and surrounding areas. We complete all manner of groundworks on new build housing sites and domestic homes. From drainage and roads to patios, kerbs, block paving and tarmac. We began our business on domestic jobs installing new block paving driveways including drop kerbs, new gardens and patios, artificial and real turf. We also have a dedicated tarmac team and digging teams (fibre and services) on the road network completing jobs for SSE and other contractors. We are based in Portsmouth but travel up to 1.5hrs from home in any direction sometimes further. We have full public and corporate liability insurance and all relevant tickets for plant and streetworks.
