It was a combination of people trying to convince us to have conventional tiles as herringbone is a lot of work and requires more accuracy I believe. And other tilers missed our steps like levelling and doorways. Elliot is professional, upfront with timeline costs steps and expectations. He spent a lot of time with us trying to find time type and colour, some very sound advice on grout, skirting, borders all of which we are glad we accepted. The final result you can see from the photo is very smart and better than we hoped We’re keeping his contact for future work.
