Get in touchI can't pass comment on the quality of workmanship as Smartlawns never arrived to do the job. After persistent no shows over a period of 3 - 4 weeks, I cancelled the job and requested the return of the £500 deposit I had paid. This was agreed to, but the money has not been returned to me more than 6 weeks later, despite being repeatedly pursued. I would advise people to avoid this company and very strongly caution against giving them any money in advance of work being undertaken. - Get in touchAfter several quotes and replies to the job post I decided to go with Phil and his team though this would be the first job he'd done through myBuilder and as such not aware of any feedback. However as he was willing to provide references from previous jobs. What stood out throughout the job was the frequent contact and updates on the progress. I was mostly abroad so much of the contact was via myBuilder or sms. None of my requests seemed to be outwith the expertise level and all dealt with in a timely and tidy manner. Even my frequent 'additional' requests were dealt with without any hassle. A tidy operator and I will continue to use Phil and his team for monthly garden maintenance whilst the home is being let.
