Did some great work initially - particularly Gordy - but too argumentative and slow around matters arising within warranty. Refused to deal with a leak to the Store Room, rushed / made errors in the installation of downspouts and didn’t level our garden as per our contract. Mick was the builder / built the store room to the side of the extension. Not sure what he means (below) by ‘fell out with the builder’ - seems to be talking about himself in the third person here… Took forever to have the flooring (Indian Store) issues resolved, but did the right thing eventually. As ever, all very convoluted and over stressful with Mick. A good builder, just needs to argue less and resolve things that aren’t up to scratch.

It didn’t. Came on day, made a whole host of excuses walked out and told husband he wasn’t coming back. There was however, some issues on our side our fish tank that we moved pump stopped working ( my husband needed to fix as was concerned regarding the fish, nothing that couldn’t have been worked around. He could of spent time starting at the other side of the room and also apparently told my husband to leave the room and my husband wouldn’t ( I did try to explain my husband wears hearing aids and may not have heard you, especially if there is background noise) completely dismissed my explanation. If he had spent time communicating his feelings it could have been sorted but instead walked out. Bear in mind the job was for £380 took 50% deposit and wouldn’t even consider some sort of refund. we paid £190 for two hours work. We wouldn’t have expected to work for nothing. Threatened me that he had took photos of if I leave a bad review. Seems he has answers for everything. Don’t touch.

Jordan and Gary arrived as arranged and gave me a very good quote. The fireplace has been altered and a wood-burning stove installed. They were very helpful with advice regarding the new hearth and worked very efficiently and left everywhere clean. I am very pleased with the job and would not hesitate to recommend them 100%.

Needed a bigger opening in floor to access crawl space then an access panel installing. The installer didnt make the opening bigger and just installed a panel over the hole. I questioned him and asked is he going to make it bigger and he said it wasnt in his quote. He then changed his mind and redone the work.
