Hi To anyone who has shown interest in my profile and I hope you will let me advise you about the reason I have not been on this site for almost 2 Years. Its simple I was offered what I thought would be a better income stream by working for the National Grid, but Im afraid they are great to work for until it comes to their payment scheme. They in fact must be the slowest payers in the World, they have completely wrecked my cash flow so here I am back on the tools and ready to help you.! Ive had to renew my Napit registration and this has now been completed and my new number is 81044. I have been lucky enough to have had several invitations to carry out quotation over the last couple of Months since I have been back on this portal. But I am finding it very diffecult to understand customers who want to invite several quotes when all they are looking for is the cheapest contractor to do the work even if he or she may not be either a registered electrician or have adequate insurance cover. Well I have both of these things and to be honest they are not cheap to maintain, so if you only want a cheap and may not be the best contractor it will not be me, but if you want 50 Years of experiance and a good job doing to the correct regulations then that may well be me. I am a self employed painter and decorator with over 30 years of experience. Recently I have been working for a builder who had a contract for ' Buy to Let and HMO student housing '. I am a very good neat decorator and enjoy my job, I have a plumber, electrician friends who are there if I require them. I am a semi skilled electrician Nvq level 2 and enjoyed having worked with the electrician on the building team to ensure great results.
