Get in touchKevin and his partner came to have a look. He was lovely to talk to. He wanted the job so he was nice and chatty. He recommended a new downflow pipe on front and a repair at the back. Before getting the items he needed i asked him if a repair would fix the downflow pipe at the back and he said yes, any issues i will come back. When the leak at the back started again i sent a message, i also asked for a permanent fix to the leak, so a new pipe. He said he would charge me another £300 bringing the total to £700 to change two downflow pipes and clean the guttering. I asked why did you recommended a repair then. He said a repair is not guaranteed and he doesn't guarantee a repair. My back downflow pipe is still leaking and after saying he would come twice, he hasn't turned up. I do feel he has cheated me. I thought being nice is enough to do a job properly, i have asked for a refund and he has refused. I would warn others to be careful. I am a competent upvc, aluminium and timber window/door installer. Been in the trade for 6 years. Also have worked on installing many conservatory’s so locating and fixing leaks is not a problem. Worked with Hampshire gates for 10 years doing fencing, gates and automations. Have the know how to do all handymen tasks and am always happy to help. Also offer gutter/facia/soffit cleaning, restoration and installation. A clean, well mannered and helpful person is how I would describe myself. Also pride my self on being very punctual, polite and reliable. No job too big or too small. Use Wam_glazing, KJM and Hampshire gates for reference. 👍🏼
