We are so happy with the work which ended up being Indian stone patio area and new turf in the garden, patio doors in place of a window and plastering/damp in the back room. Mark was great at communication, turns up when he says he will and got the work done in such a quick amount of time (even though the weathers been so hot this past week aswell, so not easy to work in!). All of the work thats been done has all been amazing, we are made up with it. Would 100% recommend.

This review isn't solely based on full re-roof as I offered more jobs to refurbish inside the property. This job was up to over £10k and jobs completed by KD construction was over £6k Pro's - Kev & Leon are friendly - Did some favours like planning & fitting an extra doors. - Competitive quote - Good roofing work Con's - Poor communication: Texted to inform not coming the morning they agreed to turn up several times. - Poor Management: Fairly difficult to manage jobs by stages as they wanted to stick to their work pattern. Not keen with changes, which is inevitable in every refurb. - Finishing not high standard- plastered wall some rough edges, stud wall built wasn't straight. - Cleanliness- didn't clean up each day after work. - Payment- asked for wages, which I regret paying as I should have paid for materials and paid the wage on job completion as agreed. This reduced their motivation for the job. Also didn't make sure I made the final payment after skip left, as some rubbish weren't taken and I had to pay for it. Left me out of pocket. In a null shell and to reiterate, Roofing jobs and small timescales work will be best fit as they completed the work to acceptable standard. anyone who isn't bothered about the Con's they will be great for you. For me even if am getting a fair price I won't compromise on standard.

3 months after originally booking the job and it still isn’t done. I had trouble with a neighbour getting a mutual agreement on the wall in the first month. After that I Sent message after message and multiple calls being ignored and eventually cancelled the job leaving a neutral review. Ben instantly gets in touch, I contact mybuilder to take the review down, to then give a false promise of an eventual end date and back to sending multiple messages and missed calls. As a result of this I’ve chosen to go with someone else.

Build wall at the side of the house on which a new wrought iron gate was to be hung and replace cracked and worn bricks along the top edge of the front garden retaining wall, with brand new blue engineering bricks. Daniel arrived to complete the posted job at the exact time we had previously agreed. He coordinated and worked in tandem with another (independent) tradesman I had appointed to remove the wrought iron railings from the front of the house, have them galvanized and powder coated and then replace them, when the new bricks had been installed. Daniel showed an ability to get with other tradesmen whom he had never met previously and still do an excellent job. I am really pleased with the end result and have no hesitation in recommending Daniel for other jobs, where brick laying is required. My front garden looks so much better now that all the work is finished and I cant thank Daniel enough for a job well done.

Apart from the weather causing a few delay's, I have to say the communication was excellent also the work carried out was excellent too. A friendly easy to talk to approach. I’m very happy so far and currently waiting for him to give me some more quotes for future work. I would definitely hire again and recommend.
