Disappointed- Avoid I hired EDSS Ltd for a full home renovation including loft, kitchen extension, driveway, outbuilding, and garden. The original project timeline was 17–19 weeks but extended to over 16 months, with several key areas still incomplete or unsatisfactory. While there were some changes to scope and delays (e.g. tenant moving out late), the lack of project management and missed deadlines became a major issue. There was no clear schedule, and expensive materials like kitchen and bathrooms sat unused for months, impacting warranties. Throughout the process, I experienced repeated requests for payments at inappropriate times, and there were long absences without notice, which delayed progress further. The quality of workmanship fell short in many areas. For example, drainage issues led to multiple visits from Thames Water, and I eventually had to hire another company to remedy after months of issues. A lot of work was left unfinished and needed to be outsourced.

Peter was the on-site foreman on our complete house renovation, which took just over a year. This included an additional ensuite pod bedroom in the roof and a side-return and extension to the kitchen. Peter was totally reliable throughout the project and thoroughly professional. Throughout this time we were living in the house with the children. He was always on time, managed the on-site team well and communicated clearly with us. His workmanship is high quality and he was also a stickler for checking the work of others and getting it updated if it wasn’t up to scratch. I have no hesitation in recommending Peter.
