Although this job began today it had to stop because the doors were the wrong size. Although I purchased the doors myself, they were purchased based on the measurements and size advised by this tradesman. I am unable to return the doors to the retailer because the 30 days return policy. I am now severely out of pocket. Very disappointed. I will try to sell the doors on sale platform.
Tradesman whom I hired claimed he is qualified fire door specialist and professional carpenter. Based on the trust I have given him the job as he guaranteed the remedial work should my fire door fail the inspection. When the fire inspection company performed the inspection both of his jobs failed fire safety upon informing, first he claimed that qualified fire safety inspection company is wrong and he is correct, upon further argument, he toned down his approach and claimed his job was originally guaranteed for only 6 months (not sure how the fire remedial work, can have a lifetime of 6 months). More arguments, finally this tradesmen agreed to return 50% of the money paid for the job (original agreement was to refund 100% if job failed or undertake remedial work) I request mybuilder to make due diligence check before listing such traders in this website. Terribly disappointed. I will not recommend this workmen.

Latest review:Carpentry-Pavel worked 2 very long days and managed to install 10 oak veneer doors. Day 2 was extra tricky as none of my frames were straight. Very hard worker and would recommend.
