He started off by doing a small plastering job and the work has snowballed from there. He is a good tidy worker I am pleased with his work and I can highly recommend him.

The brick match is really good and you wouldn't really know there was a door there before. They also turned up when they said they would and are friendly guys and professional.

Rating: 5 out of 5 552 reviewsDafydd and his team have fitted a new welsh slate roof on part of our farmhouse, built a rear retaining wall, fitted surface water drainage to the rear of the building and rendered one of the two gable end walls in lime mortar. The jobs have been carried out to a very good standard and the workmen have been excellent in both carrying out the work and looking after the property whilst working there. They still have one gable wall to complete but due to weather conditions and the use of lime mortar this will be down when the weather improves. Whenever I have discussed any part of the work they have been quick to react positively. Overall really satisfied with the work and will be hiring them to fit new concrete floors inside the house and Dafydd has already organised a visit from a heating engineer to give a quote on central heating. One final point, the financial cost of the work completed has come in just as the initial quote stated which was very welcoming given scare stories you hear of every increasing bills. No such problem on this job and overall very pleased with Dafydd Lloyd's work. In my experience there a good friendly professional firm to hire.

Rating: 4.4 out of 5 4.459 reviewsAfter getting a quote and feeling that James (Kelvin) knew exactly what he was doing, I was pleased I was going to get a bad job done well. After starting 2 months after the date quoted and paying a large amount of money for materials, which weren't delivered as quoted, Kelvin eventually started work (end of October), knocking down existing roofing, and leaving it without any cover for me to move between my house and bathroom, we then had the heavy rain, which he did say was on its way, causing water to get into my house and the bathroom. When he did start, being at work I couldn't see exactly what was going on. These are the problems we are now having after asking Kelvin to leave the job. After moving back door out a little, and external drain now being exposed on the inside of the house, it covered as an eco drain. After placing the cover (which we now know doesn't fit) over the drain, it was concreted up, which is against building regs, leaving any debris in the drain, so after having rain again this has flooded causing water to spread under existing flooring. Bad electrical work - with no name of electrician or cert as requested Life wires being left exposed Bad plastering - which Kelvin admitted he was no good at Roof leaking - no name of roofing company to get back to Floor tiles which he laid v v very badly - loose and able to take up without use of any tooling and not breaking any. I would not advise anybody to take him on as a builder

My projects have varied from roofing to plastering, fitting a kitchen or bathroom to general repairs around the house. Larger projects have included building extensions and barn conversions, my recent project being a complete renovation and refurbishment of a quarrymans cottage.
Latest review:Extensions-I'm giving Jake a neutral review as my full renovation was a difficult and time consuming job. He built an extension which we were and are very happy with, and his work on the renovation was good till the agreed budget ran out. Then the attitude and work were rushed and compromised and we were left with a leaking chimey despite them having overhauled the roof. The floors were and are still not level and he wouldn't come back to fit skirting board despite it being paid for as part of the budget.

Latest review:Roofing (Flat)-Leaking flat roof, totally removed and replaced with added insulation. From first contact with RKT improvements to completion we have been really pleased. We will certainly use them again and thoroughly recommend. Tidy, friendly on time and completed as estimated.
