From start to finish Mark was exceptional. His quote was very competitive adding items other quotes didn't consider like venting Mark understood this was a very personal project and when I changed a few things half way through dealt with them with ease and without adding massive cost More over Mark is just an absolute gent who had to put up with a hungover me pestering him for banter when he worked on a couple of Saturdays. Only negative was his footy team! Thanks mate. Hope you enjoy seeing what you helped create as much as I'm now enjoying using the space

I posted my job on Friday evening, needed a small wall rebuilding. Phil fitted me in very quickly, came out to do the job Sunday, I also had some other bricks that had come loose on another wall, Phil sorted this out for me at No extra cost. Very happy with the work he has done and a very good price, not like some other quotes I have had, who were going to rip me off. He was very polite and professional, left my garden all nice and tidy. I contracted SGCC, owned by Terry Mansfield to carry out a garage conversion and extension for £33,775, with staged payments and £1,000 retention to be held back for 3 months post-completion should no defects arise. Work commenced on 5th May, with a scheduled completion date of 10th July 2025. However, as of today (18/08/25) the job is still not finished. I initially halted payments, but Terry convinced me to release the next staged payment promising everything would be finished by 31st July. Trusting his word, I paid him a total of £32,775. The following week, he removed his tools from the site and has since vanished, without completing the job. Most seriously, Building Control cannot sign off the works, as Terry has not submitted the required photographic evidence. This man is dishonest, unreliable, and incompetent, potentially even dangerous given his disregard for Building Regulations and safety compliance. My experience has been expensive, stressful and deeply disappointing.
