We had a complete Kitchen/Dining refurb completed by Rich and his team. He has done an absolutely fantastic job. This included removal of an internal wall, installation of RSJ, rip out and fit of new kitchen, decoration, tiling, floor fitting - the complete works! Rich was amazing throughout. He kept us up to date at every stage of the project, ensured all contractors were organised and on track and was a general pleasure to have in the house doing the job. We were nervous about choosing someone to do this job but we 100% made the right decision and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Rich to anyone else. We'll definitely be asking him for future jobs!

We had Matt repoint our crumbling driveway walls today Sat am.. He had to remove and repoint the crowns on top of the walls. He turned up at 8am as promised and worked all day till 1.45pm sometimes in the rain to finish the job. We agreed one price but gave him more as the work was excellent and he cleared up after himself, looked as if he had never been. I have relocated to this area to be near family in 2021. I can cover all aspects of plumbing and heating as well as the larger projects some plumbers may not carry out such as structural wall removals and door relocations in bathrooms etc. happy to look at any jobs big or small from a tap washer to full house renovations.
Nick came and had a look very quickly and formulated a plan to find a leaking pipe behind the wall of a wet room. We arranged a date for doing the work and an hourly rate. The leak was found and repaired after removing only one tile which was then replaced with a new one. Nick worked non stop and did a brilliant job. The build was a single store rear kitchen diner extension. This included the footings, brick work (matching with the existing), vaulted ceiling and lying ceramic flooring. Mark would arrive on time every morning & run through the day's activities so that we always felt in control of the build. At the end of the day he wouldn't leave site until it was as tidy as possible, which is essential with our young children running around. Some of the build required a high degree of precision such as the insertion of a 7m piece of steel which Mark managed without issue. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Mark, he takes his time, listens to what you want and delivers with a real sense of pride. I engaged HJ Developments in September 2022 and as we have never had any major building work done before we were nervous about engaging and committing to spending a significant amount of money with people we didn't know. I went through MyBuilder.com and had 3 quotes HJ were not the cheapest but I really liked the way Harry communicated with us and nothing seemed a problem for him, and we asked him to return a couple of times to discuss various aspects and we also went to see a previous extension he had done and spoke with the owners about how they felt the job had gone so we eventually engaged him for the work. The team always arrived on time, were very tidy in their work and came in on budget, and have done an amazing job. Like with all big jobs, there were changes throughout (instigated usually by me) but there was never a problem, only a solution with costs discussed along the way so we knew where we were with the budget and could make a decision to accept the changes or not and we couldn't be happier with the end result.
