Overall the quality of the work was good, but the price was quite high. We were on a tight schedule otherwise we might have gone for a cheaper option. Communication was generally good and the team that fitted the floor were friendly and efficient.

Adam and Chris were super when we were collecting quotes for the job, and very responsive to our queries and concerns. There were Brexit, pandemic, and building-regs related delays to starting, and completing, the job, but Adam and Chris always did as much as they could at the time. As did the other guys working for them - a decent bunch of lads. Overall the job was completed to a decent standard and we're happy with the majority of the finish; only problems relate to the plumbing side of the project which are a bit of an annoyance (nothing goes perfectly though, does it?). In short, would we use them again? Yeah.

i hired JJ construction to do a kitchen extension for me last October, once we accepted his quote, he said he couldn't start until this March, so we stopped searching for other builders, it was all going to plan until now just 2 weeks before he was supposed to start the job, we received a really vague email from him just saying he wouldn't be able to do the work now, i emailed back asking why and saying how we've waited so long for the work to be done and is he really going to just let us down at such notice, to which he never even had the decency to reply. I wouldn't hire this guy because he is such a let down and if you don't want to do a job, i would suggest you don't accept it in the first place. We are really disapointed.

They were hired to rectify the subpar work of a previous contractor. The previous builder had installed a pocket door system but failed to include any doors or construct the system properly. However, C. Oakes and Sons confidently assured us they could assist in installing the four pocket doors despite these issues. They successfully installed all four doors and sourced parts to create doorstops, as none had been incorporated into the system. We were very pleased with their work and will definitely engage their services again in the future.
