Kevin and Lewis were quick to respond to my request to quote, the quote was competitive and they started works on the date and time agreed and completed on time. Kevin and Lewis took time to get everything exactly right, even though there were difficulties to be resolved. The finished build standard is excellent and I would highly recommend K Stevens Builders. Some points that highlight their quality and professionalism as builders. 1. The 350+ years age of the property gave me major concerns about a fragile gable end wall, impacting on whether what I was proposing was achievable. I needn't have worried as Kevin and Lewis brought in all the equipment to support everything while the new supporting steels were installed and supporting pillars built. The 45 years experience Kevin claims is an absolute testament to his skill and experience with older buildings and his extensive knowledge of buildings of this type. 2. My spec. for underfloor heating created another problem in that it was built upon solid Dartmoor granite. Unphased Kevin and Lewis brought in the right equipment and after considerable effort, my floor level is spot on. 3. I was adamant the finished roof be one continuous area. After some consternation and head scratching Kevin and Lewis surpassed themselves with a roof that covers both old and new build parts perfectly. Kevin and Lewis are genuinely nice and honest guys. I have no problem in recommending them as I have been extremely happy with their work.

Latest review:Bricklaying-My experience with Tad was great. He was professional, polite, knowledgeable, trustworthy. We needed some old window ledges replaced as we believed that they were soaking up water and leaking into the plasterboard externally in south westerly winds/rain. I felt they were replaced well, at a good price. We've had some rain in South westerlys since and so far so good!
