Steve did a great job converting a bedroom into a kitchen, including all plumbing, electrical works, ceiling & floor insulation, underfloor heating... Steve brought in other tradesmen for more specialist jobs, who did a good job too. Steve was dedicated to the project and even turned up on weekends to make progress with the conversion. The place was always left clean and tidy at the end of the day. Not knowing much about building works, I felt totally comfortable with the job being in Steve's hands, and I already talked to Steve about another job I'd like to have done soon!

He came the next day as promised and replaced several gully tiles and a part of the lead flashing round the chimney. Bernie provides outstanding customer service. He takes great pride in his works and has a large understanding of skills that he is more than happy to share. He worked extremely well on leveling the fireplace to the correct height and the job was done in great timing. He had great availability for the job and I was so pleased that it was done urgently. He showed me some of his other works and it was a truly magnificent work of art to say the least and I would highly recommend him to friends and family.

Extremely satisfied. He happily goes the “extra mile” and his charges for such additional work are reasonable. Inevitably the odd unanticipated item arises in the course of the work and he discusses the options rather than making up our minds for us. His dictum that he does not leave a job for another before the first job is finished is reassuring - and fact. We have been happy to contract further work to him - including hard landscaping - on the completion of the original extension work, and are equally impressed with his performance in this.
