I have no building experience whatsoever and this was the first time I had ever had major works done on any property I owned. I had not used Prestige Builders before so as with using an unknown entity I was slightly apprehensive. I need not have been, they were very professional from the Start to the Finish of the Project. I liked the fact that they offered suggestions on how improvements could be made to my requests and ideas. All of their Staff were polite, nothing was too much trouble and they were always considerate to my Neighbours with regards to noise etc. The Job was completed on time, in budget even with me making some significant changes to my original specification and also adding to it as we went along. We are very pleased with the finished product and all my friends who have visited have made positive comments to the standard of the works. I would not hesitate in recommending them to any future customer and if I need anything else done , I will not look elsewhere.

I have been most impressed by the professional and responsible manner in which this job was conducted. ** Obvious expertise & pride taken in work ** Care taken to enquire & discuss, rather than making assumptions ** Particular efforts made to add value and give useful advice/tips - NO "excuses" sought to add cost, rather opportunities sought to help you out "while we're at it". ** Clear familiarity with pitfalls, laws, best-practice, and willingness to summarise the way such issues affect the job. ** Investment in own heavy equipment, which is well-maintained, and familiar to the operators, leading to skilled and conscientious operation. I have been in the trade for over 8 years and have good experience in an array of building projects in new and old properties such as small extensions, garden room building, stud walls, flat roofing, renovations and wood flooring and door hanging. I can also do landscaping (patios etc) and plastering jobs. I'll happily look at any jobs that match my skillsets, big or small. I enjoy fitting kitchens the most and have fitted many in and around the Gloucestershire area. I have good knowledge about all aspects of kitchen fitting with different kitchen suppliers. I aspire to provide the best experience for the client as I can by providing advice with difficult decisions during the planning period, giving detailed quotes and answering as many questions as you can throw at me. I believe it is important to be very respectful while working within clients properties and close to neighbours and I try to maintain clear communication with the clients with the aim of providing the expected final product to the best of my ability within a good time frame. Even though i'm a hard worker, I think its a reasonable expectation to have friendly chats with clients as well.

Well why can I say about Simon and his team..... From The moment we met Simon we knew he was the one to do our extension, he was laid back but knew what he was talking about. We sat down before the works began so that we all knew where we stood regarding cost, time and expectancy. The contact between him and both me and my partner was great, we had constant updates and new ideas thrown our way. Simon decided to change a few things from the original plans and this was definitley for the better and sailed through building control. His team were great, from the brick layers, roofers to the plumbers. His full time team of Doig, Olly and Luke were great - always polite, friendly and on time. They all did a great job and can't fault there workmanship. Nothing was too much trouble and we even asked simon to fit the kitchen aswell, which he did to a high standard. He will even fit u a cat flap if you ask him nicely :-) . Thanks all. Have a great Xmas. Xx

I would recommend them for similar work . It required the structural changes, overseeing plumber and electrician as needed and the carpentry, brickwork and kitchen fitting etc was all to a high standard. The workers were polite and respectful at all times.
