Very happy with the build. Everything went smoothly, Shaun came to our house to discuss the initial quote. What surprised me was Shaun had a full breakdown quote ready the first time we met, by using the online planning with the required work. The final quote had increased but that was due to us wanting extra items such as exterior light and composite doors plus painting. No hidden or extra charges. Everything went as agreed and on time, although the weather did hold the build back on some days. The only trade that was a letdown was the painter, not by the quality of work but reliability, subcontracted and Shaun was quick to sort the issue out right away. Every trade was on time and did the work as agreed to spec. The level of professionalism is what surprised me the most from each trade. From the men doing the ground work and foundations to the electrician. As the customer myself and my parents were spoken to with respect from all the tradesmen and they took their time to explain when we had questions. Huge thank you to Graham the electrician who advised us on the best positions for the exterior spotlights. There was a delay in getting the completion certificate as our build was completed just before lockdown but we have had everything signed and checked by the council. Overall the porch with wc extension looks even better than we could imagine and I would recommend this company to anyone looking to get the same type of work. Thank you Shaun and everyone at S.ewing.

Jo and Emile put an extension onto the back of our house, which involved knocking down two interior walls, into two different rooms and putting up a balcony at the back. Jo was amazing especially when we change our mind on a few things along the way and he suggested different finishes on things that we absolutely love. We are over the moon with the finished job, everything was completed to a high quality and we can't recommend them highly enough!! On top of that, they were both (and everyone else who came into our house to do different bits of the job) amazing people to work with and so friendly. We're going to miss seeing them every day and when we need more work done we will definitely be giving them a call. Thanks Jo and Emile 😀

I first met Lee Buchanan when he came to give me a quote for a kitchen extension. He was extremely helpful and honest from the start. Given that I had a budget in mind Lee suggested that my husband and I meet with a QS first to give us a guide about how much the build would cost.(Over 5 years ago when we wanted to extend our building plans were accepted by the local council but then we struggled to get a builder to even give us a quote and when we did it was totally out of our price range) Lee spent time with my husband and I and suggested changes to help keep the build within our budget whilst still having a design we loved! Lee and Owen's (Lee's Dad) squad at OBB were very efficient , professional, helpful and friendly. The lads would go out of there way to explain things and were happy to do the extras in our build. My husband and I made some small changes along the way and each time Owen and Lee were more than happy to accommodate us. I also met with the OBB's office staff, Owen's wife and Lee's partner both of whom were very friendly and welcoming. Our main build has come to an end but we will be getting OBB back to do some extra work as we know we can rely and trust them to do a good and honest job. My husband and I would 100% recommend OBB.
