We have just hired the team to strengthen, insulate and board our loft space. From start to finish Doug and the team were professional, tidy, considerate and COVID safe. We left them just to get on with the job in hand, whilst the family just got on with our business. The team was always on time and even waiting outside until 8am (our agreed time) so they didn’t disturb our morning routine. They were clean and tidy never leave anything around for our 3 year old to get hold of and they put dust sheets down before starting any work every day, also took any rubbish off site daily. The quote was very good, which they stuck too even though the job was bigger than they 1st thought. Unlike other builders they estimated a time frame of 3 days and didn’t leave the job until it was done. Should I need anymore work done they will be my first call and I have no problem recommending them to you. Thanks for a great job. Darren and Family

Nathan, Daisy, and Dan renovated and redecorated the front of my neglected Edwardian detatched house. Nathan replied to all my posts on Mybuilder.com immediately. He visited the property at the agreed time, and gave a thorough and detailed analysis of extra problems I had not forseen. He emailed a very reasonable quote the same day. The team started work within a week after I accepted the quote. They worked unobtrusively, doing a thorough job, explaining at the end of each day what had been done, and explaining the next stage. I would recommend them.

I immediately started working with him when i left school in 1992, so i have a great deal of experience and i learnt a great deal from my father who had a fantastic reputation around the local area. I take on any job big or small. I can do a bit of everything which means you won't have lots of different trades on site all at once.

Jason was hired to build a single storey extension but I hired him to do the loft conversion. It went downhill from week 3. The build was to take 8 weeks, started on the 1/08 and still hasn’t finished. The initial quote was competitive but there were additional charges for work he told me had to be done that was not part of the initial price, this happened every week. Never discussed, I would get a text on a Friday evening telling me I had to pay more, thousands extra each time. He’s taken no responsibility for damages to our and our neighbours house, promised he would fix this yet I have had to pay additional costs to have this repaired myself. Jason changed roofers part way through, promised there would be no additional cost, but then asked for another £2,300, I found out later that he had hired new roofers he just met on a day rate without agreeing with me. The first carpenter worked one day, another was hired and these costs also increased. Our neighbours house has been damaged by Jason, the absolute minimum has been done to repair their roof, our neighbour continues to chase us for damages. The work is not to a good standard, walls not straight, floors uneven, floors not insulated even though I have paid extra for this, the roof rattles when it’s windy and building control say the smoke detectors are not up to code so have to be re done at additional cost. He has made numerous promises and none have been kept, Jason takes no responsibility and I regret ever hiring him.

Nice enough people to work with but the driveway hasn’t stood the test of time. A rather rough surface began breaking up a few months after completion and they agreed to come back and add a further top coat of Tarmac. After multiple broken promises, I asked for a firm date - since which all is silence. Not recommended

The work I employed Steve to do was to remove a crumbling rendered front garden wall and replace it with a red and grey brick wall with matching pillars on either end. Steve was a friendly, reliable, honest and hardworking tradesman. I have been so impressed with his quality and high standard of work I have employed him again in the fitting of a couple of double glazed windows and to fit a French patio door in the house. I would recommend Steve to anyone who wants a good quality, clean and tidy tradesman.

This included new builds auch as two 4 bedroom houses in Ashley Mew Milton, 3 3 bedroom bungalows in Holbury Hythe plus a few more as well as renovations and refurbishing I have installed around 20 double oak garages with some converted to livable spaces . After Covid I went out on my own doing extensions and renovations work. I do most of the work myself and bring in sub contractors when necessary. Also been to the USA renovating homes in Florida ( the experience to renovate in a different country was with different materials and building methods were an opportunity not to miss ) Mostly now I do extensions and refinishing, but can do most things, bathrooms, tiling ,patios and landscaping, painting and decorating. I can cover most jobs to a very high standard and the subcontractors I use are very well tested and approved, their workmanship and reliability including mine speaks for it self References from customers can be obtained
