Neil was very helpful from then outset. Having provided some very useful input while assessing the job, he provided a reasonable quotation pretty quickly. Once awarded the job he turned up as expected and worked solidly throughout. His work was very good and he kept the work area clean and tidy. He was also willing to operate a digger mid way through the job when some additional earth removal was required. There was no drama and working with Neil was very easy. A really friendly but unimposing guy. Thanks Neil - I'll certainly pass your details on to anyone who needs any block or brick work doing and will certainly call if I have other similar work.

We found Nobby about 12 years ago on line for a small extension we were doing in our terraced house, we were so blown away by his ability to communicate with us, bring others in when needed, the site was always swept and tidy and his rates were very reasonable. Marin provided a competitive quote for our building work. This included partial demolition of an old 1980s flat-roof extension, construction of an additional area, and a number of openings being made to remodel our kitchen and dining room. As part of the work we also had underfloor heating installed, flooring, and a kitchen fitted. We were initially impressed with the detail of the quote and the clear breakdown of pricing and payments. This included a Gantt chart to show expected progress. We also liked the fact that there was a relatively small deposit to be paid upfront, which was a contrast to some of the other builders we had contacted. The weekly payment schedule set in the quote seemed fair for both us and Marin, with the cost of the work spread over the expected duration. Every week there was progress, and we therefore felt comfortable paying each installment. The total cost for the work was exactly as quoted. Marin managed the team of builders throughout the project and we have been very pleased with the quality of the work. There were lots of details that I thought would be problems, however, Marin and the team are very experienced and able to problem solve any issues. Marin also managed the building control inspections to ensure that the construction was as per the approved drawings. We are very happy with the end result and would have no hesitation using Marin again for any future work.
