Do not under any circumstances use this electrician, who installed a C02 sensor alarm in my flat against code and contrary to the instructions it came with. It will not work unless the light switch is on, although it is a key safety device, like a smoke alarm. Dan charged for a full day of almost £300 for this and other small jobs, but left the house with the sensor not working. Dan has refused to answer emails and phone calls and to return to correct his work. I believe he must have invalidated his insurance with this conduct and I will be notifying the electrical certification authority. Under no circumstances can he be trusted and MyBuilder should bar him from the site.

Josh came about 20 minutes earlier than expected. He tried to find out the source of the unwanted electric cables that were previously extended to the garden. He tried to find out which electric group in the house they belonged to but things were proving to be complicated and time-consuming for him. I suggested that we turn off all electricity (at least to make it safer for him.) He then got rid of the electric extension in the garden and disconnected it from an outdoor switch. But when it came to sealing the hole that was previously created in the switch to feed electricity to the garden, Josh found it hard to accept that it was his job to provide the right screw to seal the hole and secure it against strong rain. Fortunately, we ultimately came to an agreement, and Josh went to buy a stopper from an electric shop. He came back 20 minutes later to finish the job and we were all happy in the end. Josh didn't even charge us extra for the price of the item. Thank you Josh and job well done.
