Everything started well, communication was great and 2 half days were quoted for. However on the day , a Friday, Ian didn't tell us till 3:30 he was going to complete the job in one and we had to change our plans to accommodate this. Had he communicated earlier in the day we could of not let the family down so last minute. He left the door and back gate open most of the time , wouldnt of worried if we didn't have a dog. He didn't tidy up at the end and we have cement/ whatever he was using on the drive and the dinning floor was left a complete mess. We even found him doing some of the work sat on one of our dinning chairs. All in all, brick world great but I wouldn't recommend , he was rude and left my wife in tears.Latest review:Stonemasonry- - Peter Broom ConstructionStonemason in Seaton

Reacted very quickly to initial enquiry. Peter was very sympathetic and conscientious working on our older property and the job that needed to be completed. Peter is a very trust worthy person and was able to work on his own. He also communicated well. We would thoroughly recommend him for specialised building jobs.Latest review:Stonemasonry- - Tom Waterman - Stonemasonry, Walling and Natural BuildingStonemason in Seaton
Rating: 5 out of 5 552 reviewsGet in touchI have been working in the south west for the past 10 years. I initially trained in London, and worked on the V&A, National Gallery and Buckingham Palace, before making the move down here. With 15 years experience, I’m confident in all aspects of stonemasonry and walling. I’m detail oriented and my background is managing a wide variety of projects, from repointing local walls to projects at National Trust properties. I love building with natural materials, including Cobb, Hempcrete and Lime.
Tom was an absolute star, really knows his craft was polite, courteous and nothing was too much trouble, very tidy and cleaned up as he went along. I can definitely recommend him.Latest review:Stonemasonry- - Callum TaylorStonemason in Seaton

Friendly workmen but disappointing that they left an area of the floor that was temporarily covered with a piece of slate, which could easily have been moved. I now have an untreated area at the back of the room. I hadn't moved into the house at this point so hadn't noticed this. Otherwise did a good job.Latest review:Hard Flooring- - D McAllister building contractorsStonemason in Seaton
