Paul was polite and answered some of my questions. However, he was not upfront with all his charges and the terms and conditions of his work. He did not complete ALL the work as per our initial agreement and he changed the goal post in regards to the terms of work. Additionally, he charged extra for his materials after he completed the work without prior notice or discussion. After the work was finished and the patio had dried, I noticed that some parts were not done. Avoid Tamasi Builders – Poor Workmanship and Costly Repairs We hired Tamasi to refurbish our property, including a loft extension. While the project initially seemed to go well and looked good on the surface, we later discovered significant issues that have cost us thousands to repair. Despite warnings about their inexperience and corner-cutting, we proceeded, only to have the roof from the loft extension blow off in bad weather. A roofing specialist who carried out the repairs described it as the worst roof build he had ever seen. Among other issues, 6mm ply was used instead of the required 18mm, and only one layer of felt was applied instead of three—clear signs of shortcuts and substandard work. I have tried contacting Tamasi several times to address these issues and to have them inspect the damage, but they have been unresponsive. Their lack of accountability and poor workmanship have caused immense stress and financial loss. I would strongly advise against using this company.
