Steve did extensive, intricate groundwork for us over a period on and off of about a year. His eye for detail and precision was exceptional. He created the base for two 60m long shed that needed a fall of 200mm over the distance, dug the excavations for an underground AD tank and also created a 1500 cubic meter lagoon for us and all the associated pipe work. I took Steve on at an hourly rate and in the fullness of the scheme the civils bill came in considerably cheaper than fixed price quotes that I had received. The start of the job didn't go as hoped however, after discussions took place, there was an immediate understanding of our concerns and measures were immediately put in place to rectify things. The final result was a sound job and all the team tried their hardest to produce quality work. The project was maintained clean and tidy throughout and modifications to the original quote were accommodated without question.
