Dan has done an excellent job demolishing a very old outhouse he organised everything needed without disruption from a skip, road permit to removal of cement asbestos. I highly recommend dan for any work required he can complete. He has worked very clean, tidy and effectively and I’d welcome him back for any job needed.

I originally left positive feedback for Daniel as I was initially pleased with the fence job that he did. However Daniel by his own admission 'forgot' to re-attach the back fence to the new fence he had installed. Dan came back to fix this problem but unknown to me he had just put one very short screw through the posts achieving nothing. So when we had the recent winds down came my back fence and my neighbours new fence was also damaged. I called Daniel again to be told 'it was not his problem' nor part of his job to attach the joining fence. I have had a professional fencer come and assess the work who had advised it is of very poor standard and any professional would have secured the joining fence properly. Daniel has not used sufficient postcrete either around the concrete post. Unskilled or lazy, i'm not sure. Daniel eventually returned after letting me down to see if we could sort our differences. I advised Daniel that I was not expecting a new or free back fence from him as eventually I would have replaced it. However I did expect him to correct the bad work he had done. He agreed and left. However a few days later he has written to me telling me he is not going to do the work. Seems I am not the only person to have this experience with this trader. I strongly advise to avoid.

Nick removed some wood and mirror panels along the walls in two bedrooms. This was not a straight-forward job but Nick persevered and was as careful as possible not to damage the fragile walls behind. He was punctual, polite and easy to deal with. I would recommend.

An old garden wall made of very heavy bricks that had fallen apart was safely demolished and removed by DHG Contracts, who did a very good job. The team worked very hard and did some extra work all within the quoted price. They tidied up after. The quote was very reasonable. Well pleased with the work carried out. Thank you.

We are nearing completion of our extension and can only say how impressed we've been with Matthew and his team. Reliable, friendly, hard working and considerate - accommodating my need to sleep after night shifts around the schedule of work is a big winner for me. The quality of work is excellent. The team have kept us updated on a daily basis whilst working swiftly and competently to complete our project. We encountered some issues with old building work along the way and Matthew made what could have been a very stressful discovery fairly easy and he quickly remedied the problems. Andrew was cautious and rightly so as this was a very difficult decision in terms of whether it was safe to proceed. In the end we hired another guy who just took his sledgehammer to the brickwork and discovered an old internal chimney - full of soot!
