He consulted on choices and pointed out decisions as he went. When he had finished, he cleared away and took away the rubble we agreed. Get in touchAVOID IF YOU WANT A RELIABLE BUILDER - Steve turned up and provided a quote. We proceeded and booked the work in for 1st July which Steve confirmed. We tried contacting Steve (calls, texts & MB msgs) for information in readiness for when the work commended and we were ignored for over three weeks. We still haven't received a response back. We're now in a position where we have to find a new builder and have to reschedule our electrician & plumber as their work has to commence after the building work, which has now cost us money. We would rather be told if Steve no longer wanted the job or had quoted it wrong, but instead we have been ignored which caused us a lot of stress and significant delays to our project. We feel so let down and wouldn't want anybody else to experience this - please consider this review before proceeding with instructing S&J Building Company. P.S we also have some concerns over the authenticity of other reviews as a number of them are suspiciously similar.Latest review:Conversions - General-- Get in touchGavin and his team did a fantastic job on converting an attached brick built shed into a stunning downstairs shower room as well as creating an external doorway and installing patio doors onto the back garden. You would never know it used to be a shed! The workmanship from everyone involved was second to none. The house was left spotless at the end of each day and everyone was well mannered, polite and approachable. Would highly recommend Gavin to anyone else having any kind of work done.

Great communication right through the project, straightforward costings, and transparent materials purchasing process all made the project run very smoothly. Jason was very helpful and open-minded when discussing and agreeing design as the project progressed and his joinery skills came into their own when jointing the oak etc!
