Tom & his Dad did an excellent job for us. The work involved knocking down a wall to make one larger room and insulating the walls and ceiling. A new toilet, heater and new flooring were installed. We also wanted some cupboards, a new sink, our washing machine moving into the room and a worktop. Tom was completely honest about the parts of the job he couldnt do (worktops) and organised for someone he knew to do that bit. He always explained everything he was doing, always turned up when he said he would and tidied up at the end of the day. Very satisfied customer!

Albo Dream Ltd - this company is an absolute disaster. Lack of skills and experience, very sloppy work, unable to independently solve problems that arise during the job. They don't care about securing the worksite to avoid damage, which exposed us to additional costs, and after finishing the work, they don't clean up after themselves, leaving a mess. They didn't complete the renovation despite promising to do so and being paid for it. If you don't want to have major problems, steer clear of this company.

We used 'My Builder' as a way of finding someone reliable to do a job which had been delayed since April after exhausting other sources recommended to us, waiting for quotes and builders to get back to us. Neil contacted us very promptly expressing and interest and a day was arranged for him to come round, view property and give us a quote to do the job. He was very thorough, taking photos of the wall which needed removing. Unlike other builders, he was not at all reluctant when we mentioned that we wanted building control from the council to sign off the job, which obviously gave us confidence in his skills and professionalism. Within 24 hours we had a quote from him. We wanted it doing fairly quickly as we had been so delayed and the job we required was holding us up. Neil was extremely accommodating and managed to find time the following week (thank you rain! :) ) to squeeze the job in. Neil is a good timekeeper, arriving when he says he will. He does a thorough job and both him and his team left the property tidy. He dealt with the council, arranging for them to come and visit the property to review the work as it progressed- any feedback from building control was taken on board and acted upon with no delay so the total job was signed off within a week of it commencing. Overall we are extremely happy- the job has been completed and we now know we have a builder we can rely upon for any future house projects (of which there are many!) Thankyou Neil.

Jez has made a great job of my new-build bungalow and I highly recommend him to anyone considering their own newbuild/extension. Jez's quote for my bungalow was the most competitive, and the most detailed by far, of the 5 quotations I got for this build and I'm really glad I chose him. He only works with quality tradesmen and his own standards are high. The customer always comes first. The overall finish of the house both inside and out is really good; I've had a few compliments on the brickwork already! Jez works tidily, quickly and efficiently to get the job done and any minor problems or amendments to plans were sorted out without fuss. If you choose Jez to do your work, you won't regret it. As a matter of course, Jez liaised with the local Council planning and building control, the Architect and the kitchen company to name but a few, and was always happy to arrange and chase people when necessary.
