DBM Contractors have been excellent! Having moved home, had structural work and general renovations done 3 times in the last 10 years, Orgest and his team have been by far the best we’ve experienced and we certainly will not look anywhere else in future. Once we agreed on the schedule of works and price, during which time the communication was polite, clear and consistent, there was a plan set out and the timeline to start work was precise and adhered to. He deployed the right number of people from day 1 - they work at speed but with clear quality and without shortcuts. As a result, we were further along than we expected within the first few days alone. Naturally, we added some work along the way - the communication around this was clear and we felt like we were involved in every step. They shared the smallest of details during the job so that the decision making was a combined effort. The level of communication, politeness, general friendliness and openness to help from the whole team has been very good. As we’re waiting for better weather, all but 1 job has been completed and we are very happy with the finished product – we wholeheartedly recommend DBM contractors for any work you are considering.

We used Cubitt Wren for a full interior renovation earlier this year while we were away over the Easter period, and I honestly could not be more pleased with how everything turned out. They took on the lot, a brand new kitchen, a bathroom en suite, and a full repaint throughout the house. What really stood out to me was how smoothly the whole thing ran from start to finish. Whenever my input was needed on design choices or finishes, I heard back quickly by email and everything was explained clearly. I never felt kept in the dark, which as someone who wasn’t on site made a real difference. Coming home to the finished result was just lovely. The whole place felt fresh and beautifully done, and it was a joy to walk back into. I would highly recommend Cubitt Wren to anyone looking for quality renovation work. I recently had extensive work completed in my flat by Vas, and I couldn’t be happier with the result. The service was excellent from start to finish. Not only was the quality of the work consistently high, but the whole experience was smooth and stress-free. What really stood out was Vas’s level of skill and versatility. Every aspect of the project was handled with care and professionalism — from plumbing and new water heating pipes, to new electrics, installing a new kitchen, laying a beautiful wooden floor, renovating the bathroom, and even replacing doors with a sliding door system. Each element was completed to a very high standard. On top of that, Vas was friendly, proactive, and easy to communicate with throughout. Radilina and the team were very clear on progress and issues during a difficult full house renovation, with all potential amendments to scope always fully explained, detailed, and costed. This builder expects you to be able to list every single part of the job that needs doing. If it's not communicated through messaging that you need something doing as part of the job then he won't do it. For example - the partition wall that was put up, was not filled because he said that was not communicated in the messages. I would not know everything that should be done in order for a partition wall to look half completed. It is perfectly clear that this is a common occurrence as he repeatedly mentioned how he always shows people the messages sent back and fourth as proof of what they asked for. Bottom line - if you don't know all the tiny steps included in the job you want done then be expected to not get a full job done. He took off £100 off the agreed price due to my disbelief and disgust but this did not help as I then had to find another builder to complete what should have been completed. How can any builder put up a partition wall and not fill where plaster boards are joined

We hired Inside/Outside to re-do our bathroom. New sink, bath, toilet, tiles, lower ceiling, re-hang the door and move the radiator. They were polite, honest, professional and very hard working. When they came round to quote they were noticeably more thorough and showed more attention to detail than others. Their quotes were very competitive, their work was good and they removed all the rubbish as well. They also came back afterwards to check everything was working and to deal with a couple of 'snags'. We will be using them again.
