We are a large primary school in Barking and needed some additional offices built for 3 members of staff. Platinum build successfully quoted us for the build and carried out the works in the school holiday. Platinum Build took control from the idea stage right through to completion, and carried out the works professionally and to a high standard of workmanship. All tradesmen were efficient, and on completion brought in there own cleaning company to ensure the areas were left clean and tidy. The finish has blended in nicely with our current decor and everyone is happy with the work. I can strongly recommend Platinum Build. We will certainly use them for future work. During the cutting phase of our ceilings, the insulation company had to stop the job and asked us to get the electric cables checked by a professional before they seal the foam. It was 6pm by the time I posted at MyBuilder and Rob was very responsive to help us understand whether there is a problem. He came and checked the cables the other day right on time, even talked with the insulation team himself to solve the technical issues. He was very proactive and full of advice and he tested all our electrical cabling system also the other day. We can not thank him and recommend him more. Put the job on here Marc was the first one to reach out. He come round the next morning and turned up exactly on time. The quote was fair and they started a couple of days later. His team are experienced and hard workers. I was so impressed with their work that we decided to have the rest of the house done with them. The WORST experience I have ever had with a tradesman. I would strongly advise others to stay clear. There was no schedule of works at any stage. Adrian failed to plan, failed to communicate agreed works, & did not even tell his own workforce what they were meant to be doing. There was no evidence of professional oversight or management, resulting in chaos & extreme delays. I was repeatedly misled. He stated that Building Control had been contacted & paid for; but when I contacted them directly they confirmed no application or payment had been made. He damaged my property & instructions were ignored. He was rude, aggressive & shouted at me in my own home, which I found intimidating as a woman. Neighbours also complained about his behaviour. Despite multiple extensions, the job was left unfinished with little communication. He caused significant stress & a serious loss of time & money. The matter is now being resolved through the courts. I would NOT recommend him under any circumstances
