Terry started the job 3 months ago and disappered after taking the all the money and left the job incomplete. Very disappointed that individuals like him are able to promote themselves on mybuilder.com without any thorough background checks. Not fair on my young family to go through this stress. I have requested mybuilder to look into this and report back how tgey validate such individuals, i will also pursue through small claims if necessary.

Hired for a new conservatory with tiled roof. Dave left us with 9 cracked frames, a wonky, uneven floor and an inch and half gap under the door. When we contacted him about this, he agreed to come and sort it, as he always said he would level the floor. The frames were replaced. He put one line of sealant to fill the gap under the door which was completely inadequate. He then proceeded to pretend to self level the floor. He mix one sack of compound with about 6 or 7 buckets of water. It's meant to be 4and half litres to a sack. He didn't prime the floor, so all the water instantly ran into the concrete. He ran out of stuff so he threw some wet sand by the door. At this point when I started to question him, he tried to lie about what I had just watched him do, then said we were picky to ask for a level floor. We tried to get him to sort this, he refused as he had his cheque. So we cancelled the cheque, paid him less and we have had the floor levelled. It was raised by an inch and half at one end. As well as this, the sky lights are boxes in wonky, the drain pipe drops straight into the floor next to the building and they poured cement in our flower beds, multiple times, after being asked not to, there is wonky brick work and gaps in the pointing. He replaced the facia above our windows, now the windows only open 2 inches as they are blocked. He didn't do us the window openers we were quoted for and lied saying we asked not to have them. We have photo evidence of all of this.
