We undertake any work from a simple solid fuel installation, to knocking out an opening to the original builders opening, installing hearths and beams. We build internal chimney breasts and external twin wall flues. All work is to building regs, comes with a guarantee and a warranty. This tradesperson previously traded as HOT STOVE INSTALLATIONS LTD. All feedback received prior to 6th Oct, 2020 relates to that company.

I have found them to be sensible, polite and very keen on safety. I have had good advice about choosing a stove, the work has been done on time and very, very neatly. Each time Mr Brownlow has made a point of explaining the best way to use the stove and has emphasized how to use it safely. The first time we had had difficulty getting any builder to look at our chimney because of the age of the building and because we are in a conservation area, but Mr Brownlow was clearly confident and experienced, unlike an "ordinary" builder who didn't seem to know what to do with our narrow, twisting chimney. We had been told that it would be "impossible" to fit a modern liner, but they managed it no problem. I would recommend Ramsbottom stoves wholeheartedly, and we really enjoy having a wood burning stove. They also sell and deliver dry, good quality firewood.
