The job completed was a garage conversion into another bedroom. They bricked up the garage door to create a large window. Then knocking out the opposite wall to create another large window. They made a good door way into the room at the same time increasing the size of our hallway. The room was fully insulated, with plenty of electrical features before a very good plastering job was completed. During the job, I asked for additional work and they were happy to do this and quote me at the end. Both Robert and Stuart are friendly and approachable, and were happy to work round our family during the work. Having a family of 3 kids is demanding when there are building projects on the go in your home but they made the project be carried out without any stress on the family. Fully recommend them and will use them again in the future.

The contractor was quick to respond to the ad and attend my home to measure and discuss the job on 3 July : Removal of 84 square meters of vinyl and carpet and lay 84 square meters of LVT click flooring 24 July. The contractor accepted the job on 3 July. He agreed to start on 25 July because he said his son's birthday was on 24 July. The contractor was initially efficient at providing a sample of an alternative local LVT click floor board. The contractor was slower to confirm his hourly rate but this was provided. The contactor has not confirmed the 2 plates needed between LVT click and carpet to make it safe. The contractor asked for his mate to carry out the running around work. This was fine but the contractor would not provide the mate's surname and address. Repeated requests were made and the contractor declined then did not respond. My Builder confirms it is entirely normal for customers to know the name and address of someone coming into the customer's home. In this case, I would have to know the mate's surname to be able to make an online payment to him! The contractor said he would visit on 13 July. He sent a message at 20:40 saying that he would not attend. Heard nothing from the contractor since. This is not professional.

I highly recommend Jack because of the fantastic work he did in converting our garage. He arrived on time every day and kept us fully informed at every stage of the build. The quality of Jacks work was excellent and the building inspector was highly complimentary saying "I wish all jobs were to this standard!". Nothing was too much trouble as Jack accommodated all the changes we requested during the build. I wish all builders were as diligent and good as Jack. My wife and I are extremely happy with the build. I'd give 6 Stars if possible.

I recently had two built-in wardrobes installed and, unfortunately, my experience has been quite disappointing. While I paid the deposit as invoiced, it was already a struggle to get the installation scheduled and completed. Once the job was finished, I paid the remaining balance in full. However, within just a few days, issues began to appear. One of the internal drawers does not function properly, there are visible gaps between the wardrobe and the wall, and the silicone applied has already come apart. Additionally, the wardrobe doors are not aligned when closed, the mirrored doors stick out noticeably compared to the others, which affects both the appearance and finish. It has now been three weeks since I raised these concerns, and I’ve been told there is no availability to return and fix the problems. This is particularly frustrating given that the work has been fully paid for. Overall, I am very disappointed with both the quality of the workmanship and the lack of aftercare.
