After spending five years as an engineer in the Army , I came back to carpentry, working on all sorts of jobs, big renovations, small fixes, custom builds - whatever needed doing! I've worked self-employed as a carpenter and maintenance guy for numerous holiday homes, businesses, and domestic clients across Cornwall, but I always wanted to build a business of my own. That's where Lazy Cat Carpentry comes in. With the support of my partner, in early 2025, we decided to take the leap and turn my passion into a business, and now I get to spend my time doing what I love.

I am an NVQ qualified and CSCS registered, fully insured and experienced carpenter/joiner & cabinet installer. I have been qualified since 2004. Since qualifying in my trade I have worked on both large and small, domestic and commercial projects. I also operate my own workshop based in mid-Cornwall, from where I can fabricate and supply made to measure, handbuilt carpentry/joinery & cabinetry elements to your bespoke requirements.
