Over 4 days he was here he was unfailingly polite and did a great job even when faced with the shoddy work done by previous builders 12 years ago that he had to deal with. Highly recommended. Always a concern hiring someone you don’t know, but from the beginning Charlie has been excellent with communication and job started on time and finished on time. The guys were polite to our neighbour and very careful whilst using her access for our job. Very well priced and they were content to take the job on with difficult access where others clearly priced themselves out of the job or let us down. Would highly recommend.

The job started as demolition and replacement of an existing wooden balcony. Paul visited to quote and after discussing many types of new structure the potential option to repair the existing rotten woodwork was mooted. As a large percentage of the existing was sound, this rapidly transpired to be the most cost-effective, and Paul gave his quote. He kept in contact well throughout the procedures, arrived at the agreed time having dropped off the 12 lengths of timber a week previously for me to paint by agreement. Most of the work was carried out from below, including use of a jack to restore correct alignment. The end result is now a structure probably stronger than the original 37 year-old balcony which will now last indefinitely. Paul and Ian were very careful to ensure maximum rot protection on all new timbers. The net result is a lasting fully functional balcony at considerably less cost than the original plan. They left the site very clean and tidy. Many thanks for a splendid job!

Unfortunately, cant give feedback on Marti, planned the job some time ago and Marti was very responsive. Checked in with Marti 2 days before the job to see if he's still good for it, didn't hear so chased the following day, said he was good to go and apologied for late reply. Morning of job, 10 mins after agreed start time received a message that his car was broken down on the A12, asked a couple hours later progress and Marti asked to reschedule for the following weekend, so credit to him. Just disappointed that we had this scheduled for a long time, reliability is important to me and sadly Marti was let down by his car which isn't ideal for all of us here.
