I required my cutting table height extended, in fact it was the correct height and kept on falling over,but had been done by an inexperienced handyman that’s why I approached My Builder after seeing the advert. Darren came and said it was the wheels on the table, I had sent him pictures of the same table which had been extended, he insisted it was the wheels, I wasn’t going to get into an argument so said he could continue. He never once asked me to check if he was doing what I asked I was busy so didn’t think I had to check up on a grown man. Four hours later he said he had finished and could pay him the amount we had agreed on. He brought the table inside and it was now standing On platform of wood wider than the table and 15cm SHORTER. When I mentioned this he said I should pay him and when next he came this way he would fix it. I was fuming and told him to go I would make do. I asked for an invoice - I paid him in full £180. Still no invoice or thanks.

Warren took on a job for us. He made a great start and then we booked him to complete the job, and he has never shown up. We waited all day for him, sent messages and called but nothing. To this day I have no idea why he hasn't responded. Out of goodwill I paid Warren before the job was completed.

Cameron put the basement stairs together from scratch, individually cutting out staircase using timber lengths. Tricky deep hole with a turn - so not a straightforward job. Managed it in 2 days. Was very pleased and nice job done, on budget and on time. Would highly recommend. 5 stars from me *****
