However, a 6 week job has already taken 13 months - works weren't more complicated than agreed, problem is he only turns up about 2x per month and regularly has noshows. For a job to go well, I recommend paying a large % on 100% completion, and having some daily funds released to encourage regular attendance. ** After one year, our project hasn’t been finished. It should’ve taken about six weeks. He is a friendly guy but he shows up on 10% of times when he says he will, and I don’t really know what more we can do to be patient, He has the skill and potential, but we are really exhausted now . It just goes on and on and on, he intermittently shows up and generates a lot of dust which we have to tidy up in the house and we have never been able to keep to any schedule.
