If I could leave no stars I could. Please do not use this person, I employed him to build and fit 2 external wooden doors at a cost of £1,580 and gave him a 50% deposit. After that I never heard from him again despite ringing and leaving messages on the phone and on the website. Luckily I was able to get my money back from the bank but that doesn’t forgive the fact that this a con man who will rip you off.

Terry started the job 3 months ago and disappered after taking the all the money and left the job incomplete. Very disappointed that individuals like him are able to promote themselves on mybuilder.com without any thorough background checks. Not fair on my young family to go through this stress. I have requested mybuilder to look into this and report back how tgey validate such individuals, i will also pursue through small claims if necessary.

Job took longer than quoted for and some of the work not completed properly i.e no sealant put round work tops and glass splash back put on incorrectly which I had to remove and replace at my expense. Rest of the job was satisfactory and he is a nice bloke to have complete your job.

The tradesman kept in touch from the start, responded promptly to my advert and then called to see if he could be of any help. Talked about the job and then came to see what we needed doing. This helped us to see who is was and speak to him. We agreed the price and the start date. On the day he started he contacted us again to confirm the time he would be on site. His work was first class and he asked and made sure what he was doing then worked like a trojan. I would recommend him to anyone. He left the place clean and tidy when he had finished his work. Payment was easy as he wanted paying when he was finished. Top class carpenter with all the correct kit.

Cannot recommend high enough. Apart from the day he came to see job I had to leave him to get on with the tasks due to work. Communication had to be via my son or phone and he did a great job which included plastering, door frame, doors and skirting. I have always gone off recommendations in the past which hasn’t always worked out great so this was the 1st time I had done a google search. I will be keeping this number in my phone. Don’t hesitate if you need good reliable work doing.
