Terrible workmanship. Contractor was called back a number of times for remedial of his own work. Eventually, he became aggressive with my tenant by refusing to leave the premises until payment was made immediately for the substandard job. Regretfully, he was paid to prevent an escalation of the situation.

Work was completed well and in good time. Tradesmen made good everything and cleared up after themselves. However, I was given a 9-1 time slot, I received a call saying the guys had been outside my house for a while at 8.45am and then was (inadvertently I'm sure) made to feel bad about this. I was given a maximum cost of the job. When I checked my bank account on Friday I realised that they had already taken then money out without calling me or sending an invoice. I called this morning (after bank holiday) to discuss this and the woman on the phone didn't seem at all apologetic and said that because I'd given my details I could expect money to be charged. I then said 'well you didn't send me an invoice' (which they said they'd do in the initial phone call) and she said 'oh well I'll get one out to you this afternoon if that's alright?' I'm assuming they were never going to send an invoice and were just happy having the money in their account. Very mixed feelings about this company.

Lukas did the tiling in my living room and I am very pleased with the outcome. He was very helpful throughout, helped me get the materials, and explained me all the issues and options in detail. He filled the gaps on the floor making sure there are no uneven surfaces - sth completely ignored by the previous tiler I worked with. He is very professional, knowledgeable and very attentive to detail. He left the place in such a clean condition. I am so glad I worked with him and would recommend him to anyone without any reservations.

Taras did an excellent job on our bathroom. He has a real eye for detail and as a novice to renovating he was patient and helped me enormously with he process. He also built some practical yet beautiful cabinets for our washer/dryer/cleaning supplies. Most importantly for us, he understood that we were on a time line with a baby due so he stayed late and worked weekends to ensure he didn't overrun. We're so happy with Taras work and will definitely be hiring him again.

We used Cubitt Wren for a full interior renovation earlier this year while we were away over the Easter period, and I honestly could not be more pleased with how everything turned out. They took on the lot, a brand new kitchen, a bathroom en suite, and a full repaint throughout the house. What really stood out to me was how smoothly the whole thing ran from start to finish. Whenever my input was needed on design choices or finishes, I heard back quickly by email and everything was explained clearly. I never felt kept in the dark, which as someone who wasn’t on site made a real difference. Coming home to the finished result was just lovely. I was very happy with the oak planter Ty made for me. It looks great, it was made precisely as asked for, was ready ahead of schedule. Ty brought it to my street for contactless delivery. Hiring a tradesman can sometimes feel daunting, especially if you've had experiences of ending up with something quite different to what you asked for, but Ty congenially answered all my questions without making me feel silly, sent a CAD design to check we had an agreed plan, and even gave good advice for future upkeep.
