I’ve also done work on 5 star hotels like Trump Turnberry and the Seamill Hydro hotel.
Latest review:Carpentry-Stephen did a very good job boxing in my boiler. He takes pride in his work and ensures everything looking good and tidy when finished. Reasonably priced and I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending him.

it didn’t go well at all oliwier turns up late when he arrived he looked a mess he didn’t have a tape measure or anything. well i thought if he could do the job he then told me i would need a door and skirting and he would need £400 cash to go buy them and it would have to be cash as he doesn’t do bank transfer he said to phone him when i had the cash and he would come and pick it up i did ask if it would not be easier for me to book stuff but he didn’t want that i was getting a lot of text messages from him about the monies. I managed to get another joiner who didn’t even charge me £400 for the full job

Latest review:Carpentry-I WISH I HAD FOUND THESE GUYS EARLIER IN MY RENOVATION PROJECT ! LDA contracts carried out quite a big job for me on the exterior of my property. They supplied and fitted all materials, fence panels, gates and a made a privacy screen complete with window shutters throughout. All of the work was exactly to the specifications I had asked for and was actually better than I could have imagined. The exterior of my home is transformed ! They also painted the full exterior of my house and external fence wall again to a very high standard. James and David went over and above what I would have expected and did a perfect job. All tradesmen they had on site worked hard, were punctual and really tidy. The best experience I’ve had to date hiring a company. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend LDA CONTRACTS and their team for all aspects of building work. Great communication throughout and very reasonably priced. A Professional and very experienced company also punctual, polite and very tidy. Nothing was too much bother. Very happy customer.

Latest review:Carpentry-Hired David to remove old floor boards, skirtings and door frames from my kids room and replace with chipboard flooring and laminate then replace skirtings and door frames and facings. His quote was similar to others but I got a good vibe off him. He was good for texting back etc and seemed to take on board what I wanted. On the day he was late but had said he would be. He then blasted through the job, he worked on a bit of a frenzy and mess. I did notice he was doing things I thought wasn't right but trusted him. Anyway long story short, he has left my chipboard flooring uneven, which has made the laminate bounce due to high spots across the floor. The skirtings aren't flush with the floor because he never bothered to scribe them. The skirtings aren't mitred or profiled in corners they are just put in butted against each other. No nail holes filled either. The door frames are to narrow for the wall thickness so facings aren't flush they are angled out from the frame and have huge gaps all around. He never brought thresholds which I asked for. He never marked the floor for pipes which I asked for. He left a pile of wood in my garden I had to deal with. He offered money back for labour and wood for skirtings and facings. Honestly, I'm so sorry I hired him for the job. Waste of money and unnecessary stress. If you can't do a job properly don't take on the job. I hope this review changes his work ethic or at least let's people know what to expect. Just hope my floor lasts!
