The job has been filled with hidden charges from start to finish we were originally quoted a totally different price to what we have ended up paying with no communication throughout the job to explain these hidden costs. Gareth charged £30 for sealent and glue surely if you need materials the client should be told what is needed and how much it will cost onto the job? As these materials could have been provided to you by ourselves when asked for receipts there were none to show. Gareth also charged £20 to install corner posts to units that were provided by us instead of hinges again with no communication that this is an extra cost., as having had kitchens fitted before i have never come across this that joiners charge extra to put on corner posts or hinges! The original quote Gareth quoted included all working appliances, but again once the job was complete we were charged £60 for the gas hob installation this again with no communication given to us about this until the job was complete so we had no idea this would be an extra cost! The job should have taken a week but due to Gareths “disappearing acts” it has taken 4 weeks. Whenever Gareth was left alone to do the job he would disappear he never did a full days work and popped in now and again for an hour or so until the job was complete. Very very disappointed with the service provided.

Jack was polite and on time every day. He priced for 4 days but managed to finish in 3 days due to a cabinet fault from wren. So he didn't actually finish the kitchen but all i had to do was change the unit. I would probably use him again if I needed to.

Needed a bigger opening in floor to access crawl space then an access panel installing. The installer didnt make the opening bigger and just installed a panel over the hole. I questioned him and asked is he going to make it bigger and he said it wasnt in his quote. He then changed his mind and redone the work.

Really good work. Was needing someone to fit some reclaimed doors and Nick did a great job. Communicates well arranging the visit. Turns up on time and does an immaculate iob and clears up after too. Charges a very fair price. On top of that a really nice chap tp have around and he works hard! Highly recommended.

Hi. I have work in wood industry for 40 years. I also build flatback units etc. I also adjusted doors etc. I also repair kitchen doors and drawers. I also do repairs to any wood items. I also repair or sort out problems in wood eg doors which do not open or closed properly. Repair wood furniture etc. Putting different types of curtains poles and blinds. Adjustment to blinds etc. I have dismantle and reassemble beds frame etc. Laminate flooring lay. I have got Public Liability Insurance upto £1 million. As from July 2026 I have DBS clearance as well.

Craig came around to survey the job within a day or two of making contact. I received a quote the following day which was very competitive. We then agreed a mutually convenient time to carry out the tiling of the en-suite. He turned up everyday when he said he would and worked tirelessly until the job was complete. His workmanship is to a very high standard and leaves the work area clean and tidy at the end of the day. He is very polite and works with you to get the job done to your satisfaction. I will be using Pendle Tiling and Joinery again in the future and would recommend to anyone. Many thanks Craig.
