Building of an ensuite extension to the main bedroom of our bungalow. Removal of wall between kitchen and dining room and fit new Howden kitchen. All work was completed to a high standard. In particular, Lance's team of trades people for brick work, roofing, drains, plumbing, electrical and tiling were all very professional and did a first class job. All work was carried out to our agreed timescale and Lace was very accommodating with variations and minor changes to the original design.

Mike was an excellent worker, clearly explaining each step of the task, completing the job beautifully and leaving everything clean afterwards. This is not his usual work but with his skills, I would happily hire him to do any carpentry/woodwork throughout the house.

Had several doors fitted, some of which were expensive French doors. James was a nice enough guy, but sadly none of the doors fit properly. They make a loud banging noise, if it's windy. And it's really annoying. They don't fit snug enough when closed. The French doors are now the Bain of my life. They don't close properly, and open by themselves with the slightest of winds. They also have a large gap where they should meet when closed. James was also a messy worker, leaving dust and wood shavings all over my floors. A dust sheet would have solved this. The price was reasonable, but I would not use James again.

Handmade bookcase and cupboards in attic room also replaced and repaired guttering. Wieslaw's carpentry work was of the highest standard tackling a difficult area. He was very good at problem solving offering suggestions and solutions resulting in a very professional finish. He is able to turn his hand to many different tasks taking on making good the guttering which had been unsuccessfully attempted by other builders. Would not hesitate to use Wieslaw again. His work is of the highest quality and is delivered in a friendly, professional and timely manner.

Jack did a very good job fitting an internal glazed door. He also adjusted and refitted a kickboard. For the length of time taken the charge was very reasonable. Will definitely use him again.
