Hi, my name is Lee. I trained in carpentry and joinery for 3 years and then I was self employed for 2 years and worked for others for 2 years. Hello I started out my carpentry journey working on new build housing estate, completing both 1st fix and 2nd fix stages of a house build. But now I’ve got the itch to go at it alone and start looking into the bespoke side of things! As well as mainly working on new build sites, I’ve also done a few private jobs here and there. Like hanging new doors in old frames, fitting softwood skirting, staircase parts (spindles, handrails, newel posts) also chucking up the odd stud wall on occasions. I have over 20 years in property maintenance. Im a qualified carpenter, domestic plumber and do know how to use a hoover (favourite tool) and a dustpan and brush. I have a range of skills including painting & decorating, fencing/gates, upvc door and window repairs. I undertake all aspects of work, big or small. In my spare time I like wood carving, making simple furniture designs and have had some of my carvings exhibited in Kingsand art gallery (see pics). So pretty handy with a chisel.
