Very poor quality and unprofessional service. Job -Repair and replacement of floorboards, landing and two small rooms & oak overlay on stairs. 2nd day on-site. Put a nail through a water pipe. We requested a certified plumber was called to rectify the problem. He was extremely reluctant to do so & wanted to fix this issue himself. So we called a plumber. He was overheard on the phone, requesting his partner bring a pice of cooper piping from his home. He was asked to take away excess unused flooring to enable credit on materials & lied and said my Father wanted to keep them. JJ building requested more money to continue with stair job but admitted he cancelled the oak order. He was informed further discussion with family was required before proceeding. He abruptly left the site leaving 2 pensioners with no water, water damage to ceiling, door frame & paintwork to manage. He took our only copy of the signed contract when he left. Luckily, a plumber fixed the piping. We have incurred the cost and also calling out a washing repair company to sort water supply. We will also have to pay for repairs to doorframe as expanded and cracked and surrounding wallpaper has bubbled due to the water damage. We have since tried to contacted Jj building, also requesting details of public liability insurance,but have had no response to date. We have informed Trading standards. We have also tried to contact my builder.com directly, but as yet also have received no response.
