Neil (from Hants and Surry Garden Rooms Ltd) was an absolute God send! From start to finish, Neil was super-reliable, with excellent comms and did the most fabulous job. Neil fitted a new door, door frame and sundry other items to split a house into two separate apartments at the stairs level in the hallway -- I had an idea in my mind what I wanted it all to look like when complete, but the results of Neil's hard work surpassed this by a country mile. I will not lose his number! First rate job in every sense. I highly recommend.

The whole experience from initial survey and quotation to the completed installation was hassle free and seamless. Charlie handled the renovation of our staircase by the changing baserail handrail spindles and did an excellent job. From start to finish, he was professional, detail-oriented, and easy to work with. He carefully listened to what we wanted and delivered exactly the result we had in mind. The quality of the workmanship and the attention to detail were outstanding, and the project was completed on time. Our staircase looks amazing , and we are very satisfied with the result. HJC Carpentry offer more than just carpentry. My job (caused by serious damp damage) involved removal of plaster, damp-proofing the bare walls, fixing plasterboard and plastering with finish plaster. A void being allowed between wall and board as a prevention to future damp ingress. A number of joists had to be replaced, together with the entire floor (tongue & groove flooring). We used this opportunity to introduce 100mm insulation board beneath the floor which is situated over a void. The work was started at the quoted time and was carried out diligently and with due respect to neighbours. For the duration of the work I was ‘kept in the loop’ with regard to progress and the work was completed to schedule.
